Every good rock band starts in a cramped room with too many amps. The Backroads came together right here in Gurnee when four locals decided Lake County needed a little more volume. What started as weekend jam sessions quickly turned into writing original tracks and building a setlist that hits from the first downbeat to the last call.
We don't mess around with backing tracks or gimmicks. Just guitars, bass, drums, and vocals that leave everything on the floor. Whether we're tearing through an original or putting our own grit into a classic cover, we play every room like it's a sold-out arena.
